Merry Christmas, Aubrey Flint is a bittersweet comedy about a reclusive translator who has spent thirty years hiding from grief, people and Christmas itself. When an unexpected encounter draws him into Willow Lodge, a lively but threatened retirement home, Aubrey becomes involved in the residents’ chaotic production of A Christmas Carol. Surrounded by an eccentric new community, he is slowly forced to step beyond the carefully ordered world of Napoleon and miniature soldiers that has kept him safe.
